    What our clients say

I went into we do recover internally broken. My mind could only think of drugs to ease my pain I held on for my life. An after a few weeks of detox & listening …sharing my feelings and my using thoughts with counsellors I started to come round, started to smile and laugh. I went threw full ranges of emotions happy sad crying, something I hadn’t done for along time I wasn’t numb anymore …this through help and understanding, caring staff..And the 12 step programme..this week I am 90 days clean …and no obsession to use .Thank you We Do Recover.

We do recover does what it says on the tin! I did recover! when I got to treatment I wanted to die I was lost broken and empty inside . Literally within a week my spirit was lit . My counsellor was an amazing women who helped me deal with issues I had always previously used on. She taught me that I never have to use or drink again. I’ve been an addict for 28 years using everyday it’s a miracle I’m alive but even more so that I’m now 90 days clean n serene, the help n guidance from staff at we do recover and the amazing friends I’ve made in the rehab I want to live again, I have my family back in my life. The biggest achievement is that I don’t want to use..Thank you fenella and all concerned at we Do Recover

We Do Recover is is an excellent facility. It is centred around the 12t step program and group counselling. One-to-one sessions are available with the counsellors on request also. In my experience the community spirit engendered is as important as the counselling The admissions process is spot on and there is a perfect mix of clients. The counsellors are all knowledgeable compassionate and driven to help people in the recovery journey. The chef is excellent and there is a wide variety of food made for lunch and dinner.

The support staff are all recovery based personnel and could not be more helpful. The accommodation is not luxurious but the whole place feels safe and secure. Importantly for me the beds are super comfortable.

It is the best rehab around. Since they also have access to local secondary housing taken in totality the financial outlay is tiny compared to the massive lifelong benefits. I am so so glad that I chose we do recover as the place to begin my recovery journey after a life time of addiction based misery..

    Frequently Asked Questions

We understand you may have a lot of questions about rehab. Please speak to one of our specialists today if you have any concerns.

How does the admissions process work?
Prior to admission, you will be asked a number of questions about your history of drug & alcohol use, medical conditions and any medication you may be taking. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used to create a tailored programme that suits your needs and requirements. Once our team has assessed your medical history, treatment dates will be provided and an initial deposit will be taken. Upon arrival at the treatment centre, our team will welcome you to the start of your new journey, show you around and help you settle in.
What can I bring to rehab?
We operate strict regulations around what can and can’t be brought into our centre. These measures are there to protect you and others in the early stages of recovery.

Aerosol cans, toothpaste, tobacco and other contained products need to be new and sealed upon arrival at the treatment centre, mouthwash must strictly be alcohol-free. We may restrict the use of phones during the first few days of rehab, to allow you time to reflect without worldly distractions.

Bring 7 days worth of clothes and small amounts of money, if you take medication please make this clear to the admissions team so they are aware. Prescribed medication will be monitored by a medical professional during your stay. We also recommend you bring a diary to make notes on how you’re feeling during your time here.

I am nervous about rehab, what should I do?
It is completely normal to feel nervous about rehab. Taking the brave steps into a new way of living may feel daunting, and you may have preconceived ideas about what rehab will entail.

Rehab is a supportive and comforting environment, complete with addiction specialists and nurses who are there to keep you safe through detox and therapy. Compassion, love and understanding are at the forefront of what we do, and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable during your stay.

I am unable to attend rehab on my booking date, what should I do?
Due to unforeseen circumstances you may need to rearrange your booking date. Please call our admissions team in plenty of time to ensure we can find a suitable date.
I no longer wish to attend rehab, can I cancel my booking?
If you no longer wish to attend rehab, please call our admissions team to discuss in more detail. You will lose your initial deposit and would need to go through the application process again in the event you change your mind at a later date. If you do have any worries or concerns about rehab we always recommend speaking to our experienced team who are here to support you throughout the process.
Is rehab safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Rehab is a safe space during the COVID-19 pandemic and we take the safety of our team and guests very seriously. All staff and guests are checked regularly for symptoms and the centre is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day. Since most of your time here will be spent within the centre it’s very unlikely you will be exposed to COVID-19.
